Pinning off normal moves. I had a quick talk with NeMeSiS850 about this and we didn't really see eye to eye. Just to clarify i'm here to have fun so please don't reply to this by saying "we're trying to just have fun." Let me just give you my full opinion on this. In a Pro Wrestling match, people pin off normal moves, i understand you want the match to go on longer but it can if your alright at kicking out. If your in a triple threat or a tag match, the game might take forever. Plus it makes the match more intense, if we are just pinning off finishers, i would think to not reverse my opponents normal moves as much towards the end because there would be no point because he's not going to pin after this. Just my overall opinion. (Sorry for writing a paragraph, i just want this league to work out for the better. I really love what you guy/guys have done)

I respect your opinion and I am trying to see it from your point of view. While we are trying to simulate the WWE to certain degree, we're not going to simulate it in every way. For instance, Champions advantage is out of the window because some people may try and disqualify themselves for the sake of keeping their championship.
But as far as pinning, especially in a 1v1 match is not meant to be a punishment but its to put on an entertaining match. But I must say you must of not read the rest of the rules. Triple threat rules are different. Theres also more to a match than just hitting a finisher.
I will leave you with this, or anyone who has an issue with some of the rules for that matter. Things will be taken into consideration, however those are the rules for this season. Potentially some adjustments may be made, but nothing is changing now. If you decide to stay in the league, by all means if you decide to go because you don't like the rules in place thats fine as well, no hard feelings.
It has come up numerous times regarding people chasing quick, easy wins. I get that this is a league and of course everyone is competitive but the bottom line is having fun. Keep in mind that this isn’t putting any money in your pocket, so why can’t we just let loose and have fun with it? Put together good, solid, back and forth matches for everyone to enjoy including those who watch it live or watch it after the fact. Throw in some cool spots and ultimately have fun with this. I can’t stress it enough that while we all want wins, the main focus of this should be to build a solid league where people can have fun and meet other people who enjoy good company and good competition.
RSTR has been around for a long time and from what I’ve gathered, the GTA portion of it is like a family. Everyone sticks together and helps out the other person. This league is full of different skill levels, some are brand new to the game and others have been playing for years. There is no room for try hards who want to ruin it for another person. Anyone that knows anything about working in a warehouse knows how hard of work that is and the last thing I want to do on my days off is have my gaming experience ruined because this person or that person is desperate for wins. There are rules, regulations and structure for a reason. At the end of the day for losing a normal match, you’re still getting points for it. If you lose a match this week there’s always a chance next week to get your win back. We’re going on week 3 of this league and I feel like there has been far too much bull**** taking place because of try hards. Everyone needs to get of the same page and start looking out for each other, instead of trying to bury them to feed your own selfish ego.
My first experience with Nemesis was on SvR06. A long time ago. He and Kane301 ran a league with similar rules and everyone...EVERYONE looked out for each other and had a blast playing together. The only bull**** they dealt with was from me and it had nothing to do with gameplay. A story for another day. My point here is people are threatening to quit the league because it’s turned into babysitting and hand holding as opposed to being fun. This entire league is about having fun. I was one of the first people to choose my wrestlers here and I chose Curt Hawkins when top guys were still available. Why? Because I care more about fun and challenges then I do burying people. Your GM’s work hard each week to put together match cards and keep the divisions in order. People have been kicked out of the league because they can’t follow rules and try to pull some cheap **** to gain an advantage. There is zero tolerance for that.
If you guys enjoy getting together, meeting new people and having kick ass matches in this league, then everyone needs to look at the big picture and stop being try hards. If this league is going to last, we need to lookout for each other and start having fun with matches. Driving others away because you so desperately want to win EVERY SINGLE MATCH is beyond pathetic. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for. Why would anyone want to join a league to have their fun time ruined by some try hard?
Until this game puts money in your pocket and pays your bills, people need to chill out and start having fun instead of desperately needing to win every match

Perhaps having the league chat set up through a mobile app (GroupMe)? A couple of NBA 2K leagues I’m in run their leagues through that and best of all you can mute the chat to where you’re only notified if someone tags you in a message. Pretty neat.

You mean like Discord?
Discord is awesome. If we were to have a chat, it would be that.

The only annoying part would be to get everyone to download the app. I can’t even get some people to read the rules when joining lol.
It’s probably like discord. I dunno never got into using it but if I’d suggest either of em. Makes it easier to express ideas, get in touch virtually whenever, and eliminates the problem of flooding a chat completely.

I think we (mostly me myself considering I'm the only one that has this problem) should be able to change our superstars finisher if they have a different variation of the move. I'll explain this in detail so you understand where I'm coming from.
When I say different variation, I mean a second version of the move (Pop Up Powerbomb , Kinshasa , Curb Stomp, Daniel Bryan's Running Knee etc).
Now the reason I want this is because I've recently realised that Kevin Owens (my WWE Division pick) Finishers are very easy to reverse mid move. So lets say I'm deep into a match, me and my opponents body parts are on red so we can both go for the win. My opponent can easily not use any of his reversals until I actually go for my finisher which then he'll reverse mid move, and hit his finisher on me.
Because KO's Finishers are so easy to reverse, I feel like I'm at a massive disadvantage. Other superstars like Samoa Joe, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and most of the roster don't have to worry about this because they have a finisher that can't be reverse mid move. I actually went to look at all of the Superstars move sets and KO is the only one that suffers from this issue. The only person that comes close to this is Shinsuke Nakamura.
The only fair solution I can think of is giving me permission to change the Package Pile Driver to the Pop Up Powerbomb 2 animation. Even the Pop Up Powerbomb 2 animation can be reversed mid move but It's much harder to do.
In this post, I'm mainly referring to myself. I understand if you don't agree with this, but I would like you to consider thinking about it. Fingers crossed in 2k19 Owens already has the Pop Up Powerbomb 2 already equipped.

I appreciate the suggestion but my concern is people being given an inch, then they take a mile. The is why I'm very strict on any modifications. However, Its something I can take under consideration. First, lets see what 2k19 entails.

Match Scheduling
Since joining I have noticed it can be quite difficult scheduling matches. I understand people have other obligations and things they want to do but there are things that can easily be fixed.
1. Players turning notifications off: a few times I have already encountered this problem. When match cards are posted and you reach out to people they don't respond due to this. With multi man matches it becomes increasingly difficult to discuss times.
2. Players settings: another issue I've come across is I have been unable to add or message people due to their settings. To me if you're participating in a league such as this you should keep everything open.
Those are the main pain points I've noticed or dealt with. Maybe this can be just a reminder to all players. Just a suggestion.

Quick note regarding scheduling. Can something be said about no showing if you tell your opponent "give me 5 min"? Often matches aren't set in stone for a time but done on the fly. People will say give me 5in and then no show. This should fall under the same rules as people are waiting around for you to show.
