So you're interested in joining our WWE 2K League? Excellent! but before your first match there are a few very important rules that you must understand. These rules are subject to change once the game is out. Expect changes due to exploits and glitches being discovered within the game.
Why do we have rules?
Rules maintain the integrity of our league and makes it a different experience from the usual. This makes us unique, lets us play the game the way it was intended to be played. It also provides organization and a true sense of accomplishment when you win.
Here are all the rules and regulations of being a part of this league and the consequences.
General Rules
1. No Created Superstars: Even if they are legitimate Superstars, this will always leave room to create an unfair advantage against opponents.
2. No Editing Superstar Moves: This is one of those things where its harder to monitor, however it can easily be identified by most and will be reported. Don't try and be sneaky about it because it will only be a matter of time before someone notices.
3. Purposely Glitching: There will be 0 tolerance for anyone using glitches purposely to win. If you are aware its a glitch and are using it to your advantage, prepare to have to resign from this league and possibly from the Ridge Street Ryders community.
4. Good Sport Rule: This should go without saying but don't be a sore loser, respect your opponents. This is supposed to be fun, if you were beat fair and square, then a simple "Good game" will suffice.
5. Disconnections: In the event that a disconnect happens, the match can be restarted if it is early in the match (2-3 minutes in). If it happens later in the match up and you suspect the opponent rage quit or is trying to pull a fast one, it will have to be reviewed by a member of management.
Match Etiquette
1. No Spamming: Please don't abuse a superstars moves, this cheapens the experience and can be considered "Body part hunting". You can repeat the same move no more than 4 times per singles match. Signature and Finishers don't count. Matches with multiple players such as fatal 4 ways and elimination chamber will be harder to monitor, however don't abuse any moves. Any claims of spamming will be reviewed by management as well.
2. Outside the Ring: If you are purposely running away from your opponent to build up stamina and reversal meter than you are also guilty of being cheap. Everything in moderation is ok, you CAN roll out of the ring and rest up. No more than 5-6 seconds and no more than 3 roll outs per match. Once again, matches with multiple players such as fatal 4 ways and elimination chamber will be harder to monitor, however use in moderation and avoid any issues.
3. NormalTag Team: During normal tag matches, the illegal man should be in his/her corner. You can of course break up pins and strategize towards the end of a match to try and secure a win. We want to avoid chaos outside the ring during normal matches.
Match Finishes (Singles Matches)
1. Finisher Rule: You must perform a FINISHER in order to go for a pin, or in the case of a submission move you can try and submit. A Finisher must happen before ending the match. OMG finishers count
To be clear, you must hit a finisher EACH TIME you want to go for a pin or Submission Finisher.
For example, you hit a finisher. The opponent kicks out, or got a rope break, then you must hit them again with a finisher before going for a pin.
Also, if you have a submission finisher, you have to try and submit your opponent. You cannot go for a pin after trying to submit your opponent.
2.No Body Hunting: Your opponent must have a minimum of 2 red body parts or 1 red and two orange or 1 red and the rest yellow(or higher) before attempting a win via finisher. This avoids matches that end in a matter of 2 minutes due to one body part being hunted.
3. Count Outs: If you purposely get your opponent counted out, you will get a loss recorded as opposed to the player whom was disqualified. Now, if someone legitimately just decided to stay outside the ring and get counted out then thats on them. If you hit your finisher on an opponent outside the ring, you must pick them up and throw them back in the ring.
4. Stomp Spamming: Do not abuse stomps to try and force players to use their reversals. A total of 5 stomps per match will be allowed.
Match Finishes (Other)
1. Tag Matches (All Types): Same Rules as singles + the apron rule for normal tag. The opponent being pinned or submitted needs to be within the Body hunting regulations.
However, if the illegal man lands a finisher on the legal opponent, The legal man CAN go for the pin. As long as the opponent is within the body hunting limits.
2. Triple Threat & Fatal 4 Way: You must hit 2 finishers before attempting pins. However, you can pin in any way you'd like after you've landed 2 finishers. So you can win via a school boy or roll up if you'd like. The only rule here is you must hit 2 finishers on either opponent.
To be clear, you can hit opponent 1 with 2 finishers and go for the pin on opponent 2 or 3 at any point after that. So you can potentially get the pin on someone not hit by any finishers or get pinned without getting hit with a finisher. So watch out!
4. 4-6 Man ladder matches: These are no holds barred, you can climb up any time to reach the championship or brief case. Good luck getting up there without being pulled down by the other 5 competitors.
5. Special Matches: Ladder matches (1v1 & triple threat), Tables, Cage and others (will specify once the game is out) will require you to follow the finisher rule and body hunting rule before attempting to climb, or put your opponent through a table.
What happens when someone violates the rules?
1. You can take a screen shot, video or photo with your phone that clearly depicts a violation. You must report it to me or any other GM. The situation will be handled accordingly.
2. If a member made an honest mistake or wasn't aware of a rule, it will be counted as a loss unless their opponent decides to give them a chance to redo the match. No further action will be taken against the member.
3. Members who blatantly disregard rules, will be warned and will have the corresponding match count as a loss.
4. Glitches and exploit offenses will have a 0 tolerance policy and will lead to being banned.
if you feel like i forgot something, made a mistake or need clarification on a specific rule or regulation please let me know below. Thank you
