Charlotte Flair: Interview with Michael Cole (Week 1)

*Michael Cole is sitting with Charlotte Flair and Ric Flair prior to her match with Mickie James at SummerSlam*

Michael Cole: Good afternoon everyone, I am being joined here by the Raw Women's champion Charlotte and her father ,2 time hall of famer, Ric Flair. Welcome guys!


Michael Cole: Charlotte, let me be the first to congratulate you because you've been on an absolute roll as of late since your victory against Bayley at Wrestlemania.

What are your thoughts on your match tonight where you will defend your Raw Women's championship against a future hall of famer, Mickie James?



Charlotte: See Michael, you're starting this interview off on the wrong foot, I haven't been on a roll as of late...I've been the most dominant champion of this generation and all generations. I am a three time Raw women's champion and have been champion for the better part of a year. 

and to as far as Mickie James, I respect her. But she, like all the rest will have to learn a harsh reality. 

and that reality is that when it comes to this championship, there isn't a single women who can pin me for it in a one on one singles match. I've proven it time and time again.

Michael Cole: But you've lost the title in the past...

*She cuts Michael Cole off*

Charlotte: Are you listening to me?!  I said a one on one, good old fashioned wrestling match, so

You can hang this title up in a ladder match.....

you can put me in an Elimination Chamber match to reduce my chances of retaining.....

but when its all set and done, If I were to fail, I'm not going anywhere. Any women who holds this title, will eventually have to face me in that ring. 




Michael Cole: Ok moving on, so some would say you keep getting championship opportunities due to your father's status in the sports entertainment business, how would you respond to your critics?

*Charlotte Pauses*


Charlotte: The only advantage I have, is that I am genetically superior. I have the DNA of The Nature Boy Ric Flair!

I was born in this business and have lived it since I was a little girl, Cole! Nothing has been handed to me....I have worked countless hours...

days...and years...to get to where I am today.

I have proven myself in that ring, on a microphone and yes I am bound to get more eyes on me because I'm Ric Flair's daughter...

*Charlotte Pauses again*



You know what, I don't need to explain myself to you, Michael Cole. You and all the critics will have to either learn to love me or respect me. 

but guess what, I'm here to stay. Mickie James will be another one added to the list of women I've defeated and humiliated....and I will do it with "flair".
