What a pay per view Uncensored was. WWF Champion Ricky Morton retained the title against The Undertaker inside of the 15 foot hight steel cage.....and a NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion emerged from a tremendous 4 way ladder match in which now 2x WWF Intercontinental Champion, The Ultimate Warrior secured the championship that was hoisted above the ring.
Now with Uncensored behind us, we look forward to..
The WWF Royal Rumble.
This week on Prime Time Wrestling, there will be Royal Rumble qualifying matches. The match ups were generated earlier today based on a computer simulation, pairing up the competitors in order of entry.
The 6 winners from the matches will go on to battle it out at the Royal Rumble.
Now this year will be different. I got word from WWF President Jack Tunney a few minutes ago, that instead of an over the top battle royal, this match will be a 6 man match where the only way way to win is by pinfall or submission with eliminations. No over the top, just straight survival! The man who stands tall at the end will be the winner! Oh my!
The winner will recieve an automatic title shot, but get this....it won't be at WrestleMania. The winner can choose their shot at any time and any match they choose. The stakes have just got higher! You don't want to miss this!
