Basic Scheduling Rules
- Not replying to messages
- Initiating scheduling last minute
- Showing up late to matches (7 minute rule)
- Not reporting your match to the GM
- Requesting for a week off after a match card is already up or 2 days before the card goes up will cause you to have a missed match.
Successful Scheduling
- In order to effectively schedule your matches you must communicate with your opponents shortly after the match card is posted.
- You need to specifically state which days and times you are available for the week.
- You must also state your timezone. We have members from all over the world, so simply agreeing to a time and not stating which timezone you’re referring to can lead to confusion and disagreements.
- If someone is being an issue with scheduling, it is your responsibility to let a GM know, otherwise you become a part of the issue as well.
- Here’s an example on how to effectively schedule a match. Feel free to copy and paste the message below into your notes and adjust it to your own personal timezone and availability.Hey, we have a match this week. These are the time slots and days in which I’m available this week. My timezone is US East!
Sunday: 10am - 10pm

Tuesday: 10am - 10pm
Wednesday: 10am - 10pm
Thursday: Not Available
Friday: 10am - 10pm
Saturday: 10am - 10pm
When are you available?
Scheduling Scenarios & Consequences
Scenario 1: The No-Show
You've scheduled a match with your opponents way in advanced in the week, yet they don't show up within the 7 minute grace period or at all.
What now? They lose the match or if its a multi-man match they will be left out. The offender will also be labeled as missing a match. However, screenshots of the conversation must be provided and will be subject to review from the GM. There are cases where both parties are at fault and appropriate action will be taken.
Scenario 2: The Mute
Match cards go up on Sunday, you're excited to get your league match scheduled. You've sent out a message to your opponent early in the week to try and get it scheduled, Friday comes around and they still haven't answered you.
What now? Contact the division's GM and let them know of the situation, screenshots of the conversation will be needed. At that point you will be awarded full points for the match, while the person who hasn't responded will be given a 0. If you go silent for too long, heres what will happen. After 3 straight weeks of silence, the offender will be stripped of their superstar and their league rankings / points will be put on hold. Re-entry into the league might not be possible at that point. If you need time off, ask for it.
Scenario 3: The Entitled Player
Your opponent has a super busy schedule this week, they insist that you must work around their schedule and times only. However, you are mostly available, even offering to stay up late on some nights, wake up early etc.
What now? Get the GM involved, there may be a last minute switch to the match card in order to work something out so both players (or more) get their match done. That is best case scenario, worse case scenario is the player with the super busy schedule may be left out of the match or will just have to take the loss. 0 points will be given to that particular player. Once again, ask for time off if needed, the world doesn't revolve around you.
Scenario 4: The Entitled Mute
You've sent out a message to your opponent early in the week to try and get it scheduled, Friday comes around and they finally get around to responding to you, well now the mute is feeling entitle to making you work around their schedule. There are 2 days left to get these matches done, but now you're busy.
What now? Get the GM involved, the player who hasn't been replying all week will now have to take the loss due to their silence and or be left out of the match. If you can work something out to get the match done, then great. But no ones going to bend over backwards for someone who has been quiet for 3-5 days.
Scenario 5: Dark Matches
If you aren't sending results to the GM of the appropriate division, then don't expect them to go and find them. You must send a screenshot of the end of the match showing your win. If you lost and got 5 stars, turn in your results as well so a 5 star bonus can be given.
However, the jobs of the general managers isn't to chance you for results for your matches. If no one communicates results to us, then all players may end up with a missed match.
